Get the GType of the FilenameCompleter class

asParent

protected FilenameCompleter asParent()

Returns this instance as if it were its parent type. This is mostly synonymous to the Java super keyword, but will set the native typeclass function pointers to the parent type. When overriding a native virtual method in Java, "chaining up" with super.methodName() doesn't work, because it invokes the overridden function pointer again. To chain up, call asParent().methodName(). This will call the native function pointer of this virtual method in the typeclass of the parent type.

getCompletionSuffix

Obtains a completion for initialText from this FilenameCompleter.

Parameters:

initialText - text to be completed.

Returns:

a completed string, or null if no completion exists. This string is not owned by GIO, so remember to g_free() it when finished.

getCompletions

public String[] getCompletions(String initialText)

Gets an array of completion strings for a given initial text.

Parameters:

initialText - text to be completed.

Returns:

array of strings with possible completions for initialText. This array must be freed by g_strfreev() when finished.

setDirsOnly

public void setDirsOnly(boolean dirsOnly)

If dirsOnly is true, this FilenameCompleter will only complete directory names, and not file names.

Parameters:

dirsOnly - a gboolean.
