run

boolean run()

The ::retrieve-surrounding signal is emitted when the input method requires the context surrounding the cursor.

The callback should set the input method surrounding context by calling the IMContext.setSurrounding(java.lang.String, int, int) method.

upcall

default int upcall(MemorySegment sourceIMContext)

The upcall method is called from native code. The parameters are marshaled and run() is executed.

toCallback

default MemorySegment toCallback(Arena arena)

Creates a native function pointer to the upcall(java.lang.foreign.MemorySegment) method.
